How it works
Traditionally, coupons whether in paper or electronic form, once it is presented by a customer to a merchant, it has served its purpose. The merchant will offer discount to the customer and proceed to destroy the coupon, since it has no other use cases.
RWC is different. Once a merchant accepts RWC from a customer. The merchant can still use RWC at other platforms for discounts. Even if the merchant isn’t interested in any use case offered by RWC, he can still sell RWC at a crypto exchange and get value out of the sale.

- Project Planning.
Explored whether to go in the direction of vouchers or coupons. Vouchers cover all costs on products and services, and coupons only cover a small portion of the total cost. Decided on coupons because it is overwhelmingly more popular among users in the real world.
- Establish founding team.
Project decided to go with decentralized team structure with members across 4 continents to help form coupon use cases globally. We believe this is superior than centralized team for the purpose of this project.
- Website development.
Design direction is intentionally clean and simple to help audience focus on the core strength of the project — a system of endlessly reusable coupons, accepted by a growing list of merchants.
- First partnerships formation.
Team leveraged our relationships in the crypto community to prioritize discount use cases that can help to promote crypto projects at discounted rates.
- Ongoing partnerships formation.
We eventually want to have the majority of the use cases outside the crypto community. One of the goals of this project is to onboard non-crypto users. We started to forge partnerships with quality boutique shops with physical store presence.
- First exchange listing.
With the project foundation laid out, team expanded activities to generating awareness in Korean, Chinese, English and Russian communities. We plan to have RWC listed on a select few top exchanges worldwide to make RWC readily available to all users.
- Reach 50 partnering platforms.
Team will continue to forge high quality partnerships worldwide to benefit holders and users of RWC. We plan to establish 50 use cases by end of 2019 and 100+ use cases in 2020.
