Detailed analysis of BTC-Alpha exchange held by our partners Cryptowisser11.01.2019
Dear users and partners!
BTC-Alpha is a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in the United Kingdom.
United Kingdom is the country which without a doubt has the most cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. At least that we know of.
BTC-Alpha Trading fees
As you surely know, there are a number of top crypto exchanges that do not charge different fees between takers and makers. Usually, you say that such exchanges’ trading fees are “flat”. BTC-Alpha offers a flat trading fee of 0.20%. The exchange does accordingly not care about whether you are a taker or a maker. For investors who prefer to pick-up existing orders from the order book, this might be an attractive trading fee model.
The flat trading fee of 0.20% is slightly below the industry average which can be argued to be around 0.25%.
BTC-Alpha Withdrawal fees
BTC-Alpha charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.001 BTC when you withdraw BTC. This is also in line with industry average, but not especially competitive.
At BTC-Alpha, you can deposit fiat currency from any of the payment systems supported by the exchange. These payment systems currently include, inter alia, NixMoney and Epay. Deposits of cryptocurrency are possible in the same way as is customary for cryptocurrency exchanges (i.e. directly from cryptocurrency wallets).
BTC-Alpha’s security score is B, when performing the test at Observatory by Mozilla (https://observatory.mozilla.org/). This is actually far above average when it comes to top crypto exchanges and could also be a factor making you conclude that BTC-Alpha is the best cryptocurrency exchange site for you. Especially so considering that the majority of exchanges in our Cryptocurrency Exchange List only received an F when running their respective sites in the Observatory-test.
When looking at the site icorating.com, BTC-Alpha’s rating is even higher: A-. So there’s no doubt that BTC-Alpha has worked hard on its security features. Good work, BTC-Alpha!
